Are you included in the class of person who is always sat with an upright body position? If yes, you should try to intersperse your sitting position with style lazing. Because this position can help reduce the incidence of problems in the spine.
During the time people think if they want to have good posture and upright, they should always sit in an upright position and rigid. Whereas one study showed that sat idly might be better.
A natural health study conducted at Woodend Hospital in Aberdeen, Scotland, showed that the occasional sit idly would provide better benefits for the spine than sitting upright and stiff continuously.
In conducting this research tool used magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to scan on 22 volunteers who have a healthy body without a history of back pain or surgery. To perform the test, everyone volunteers to do a scan on a variety of different sitting positions.
The results showed that sitting in an upright position continually, can make the tension of the spine and can cause chronic back pain. This is caused by a trapped nerve that long to become stiff or the shifting plates of the spine.
The health information researchers concluded that sit with the position of 135 degrees is the optimal sitting position, while during this people think sitting in an upright position 90 degrees is the ideal position for the body.
“Sitting in accordance with the anatomical position of the body is an important matter, because the pressure on the spine, muscles and joints associated from time to time and in a long time can cause pain, disability and chronic bone disease,” said Dr. Rosita Amir Bashir, as quoted from HealthDay’s health care information. This health care research has been published in the meeting Radiological Society of North America.
So, if you do not want to have a problem with the spine, try to occasionally sit by idly position. Because it helps stretch the muscles and joints, so they do not become rigid.
