Men who have long fingers, more aggressive and temperament

There is one tips for women who want to know the personality of someone, especially men. If you do not want to have a temperamental partner, you should avoid men with long fingers.

Based on recent studies, researchers found a link between finger length and nature of a person with emotions, especially masculine, aggressive and temperamental.

“The hormone androgen has a significant influence in shaping the character of masculine person, such as strength and aggressiveness. However, androgens also apparently affect the growth of fingers baby while still in the womb, which also affect its nature as an adult later in life,” says Emma Nelson from the University of Liverpool’s School of Archaeology, Classics and Egyptology, as quoted from Eurek Alert’s health care information.

A large number of androgen hormones, like testosterone, will increase the length of the fourth finger (ring finger) than the second finger (index finger) on the hand. This means that the higher the hormone androgen, the longer the fingers too, especially the ring finger and index finger.

The natural health researchers used a finger length ratio as an indicator of exposure levels of this hormone in the body, and then comparing that data with the behavior of someone in his social life.

Studies conducted on monkeys, by studying nature by long fingers. The result is known that a monkey species that have high androgen levels (such as baboons) have a tendency to a more aggressive nature, temperamental but not picking in the association. Whereas monkeys with low androgen levels tend to be less aggressive and timid.

According to Dr Susanne Shultz from the Institute of Cognitive and evolutionary Anthropology at the University of Oxford, humans are very unique and specific. A study of finger length could help someone to be more tolerant, due to differences in the fingers is a sign of differences in androgen hormones.

“So do not be surprised if your spouse is grumpy or aggressive, it could be due to high androgen hormones. All you need to do is try to be tolerant,” said Schultz.
