Men reap large profits after marriage

If happiness can be converted to money, then after marriage, men would get a far greater happiness than women.

After marriage, happiness for man can reach 18 000 pounds, while women only about 9000 pounds. Effects of stress after having households were far more upon women.

The natural health researchers tried to calculate the price of happiness by estimating how much money must be spent to conduct any activity or something that brings happiness.

Paul Frijters, one health care professor from Australia to spend time eight years to determine the effect of marriage on happiness and quality of life for 10,000 people in the UK. Studies conducted in random order, as well as participants.

“We did not make the criteria for the participants. We do not recommend getting a divorce, it all happens without any tricks. That way we could do with a more accurate comparison between the happiness before and after marriage,” said Frijters, as quoted from the Telegraph’s health care information.

The health information survey participants were asked to fill out questionnaires about their level of satisfaction and happiness after marriage. Scale used to measure the level of happiness is 10-10. The result, participants gave an average of eight scales after marriage.

This ultimately encourages Prof. Frijters from the Queensland University of Technology to conduct economic analysis to measure the price of a happiness on some momentum as marriage, divorce and when to have the disease.

Frijters found that the average person, after getting married feel most happy when they had children. But a few months and years after marriage, level of happiness is constantly decreasing.

In addition, Frijters also mentioned that he will be more loss if left to die by their partners, than by women. According to calculations, a man will experience a loss of feeling happy until the 350 000 pounds, while women only 73 000 pounds.

“But this does not mean the price of a life. This is only the effect of the loss of happiness, when our spouse dies,” says Frijters.

Researchers suspect that women will become more stressful when married. Meanwhile, after marriage, men would likely be happier because of several factors, one of which is the fulfillment of the biological needs that can enhance feelings of happiness.

“The feeling happy woman is usually increased after a new house or new goods. This shows that money has a big effect for a happiness,” said Frijters.
